I'm Terry, a junior at Sacramento State University who aspires to enter a career in public administration. I currently serve on Sac State's Audit Committee, Finance and Budget Council, and Internal Affairs Committee in addition to having done volunteer work with the Office of Governmental Affairs. As part of OGA, I have registered students to vote, educated our community about the issues facing them, and lobbied for higher education. I'm also VP Education (second-ranking officer) in the Toastmasters Leadership Club as well as Special Events Coordinator in the Student Economics Association. yep. i found out a week before the semester began that i was going to need surgery, so i dropped all my classes last minute. i don't like to start something i can't finish. so i'm going to take some summer school classes during both sessions to make up for lost time. what's your major?
so you're running for office at csus? i took this semester off (medical leave for knee surgery), but will be back for summer school and the fall as well. i was into student government and all that in high school, but ever since college it's been about gettin in and gettin out. um, yeah, too bad i've been enrolled since 2003! looks more like i'm taking my time...anyway, good luck with all that!
