Manifesto:
1. terrynation will make electro punk melodies of spooky beauty.
2. we believe in music.
3. we believe in words.
4. we believe in films.
5. we believe in dreams.
6. we, the nation, aim to create emotion through technology.
7. terrynation like noise and melody - preferably together.
8. terrynation aim to use simple melodies in complex ways.
9. terrynation believe that the science fiction of today
is the science of tomorrow, so be careful what you write.
10. terrynation do not believe in information culture.
11. we, the nation will attempt to fill your time with things worth filling time with.
12. terrynation do not believe time is money.
13. we believe in staying calm - though this is usually impossible.
14. terrynation are full of themselves and believe all people should be.
15. we are not embarrassed by contradictions.
16. we, the nation will try to avoid illegal popular rhymes.
17. terrynation dislike nostalgia.
18. terrynation miss the time when they loved nostalgia.
19. terrynation will never say "We are terry nation" in unison in interviews.
20. terrynation will not play stadiums (we would have to be famous first).
21. terrynation will not use fade outs at the end of their tunes.
22. terrynation believe in capturing the moment.
23. terrynation believe in the dynamics of sound but only use compression when all else fails.
24. terrynation love samplers but will not use them except for reworking original sound.
25. terrynation will not use vocal pitch correctors or harmonisers...even if we need them.
26. terrynation want to slip into your thoughts when you least expect it.
27. terrynation tunes will always include two or three of the following:
