Pull us closer to you heavenly father that we may get to know you better and understand the plans and the purposes you have for our lifes. MyHotCommentsTerry, Trials and Tribulations will either make us More Holy, or More Sinful depending [GREATLY] on our Relationship to God/with God, Amen? Because when testings come (and they WILL come "IF" you are Walking right), WE will either TRUST God's purposes and FIND Peace, OR "we" can Trust in our OWN plans, start walking in the "Vanity of our mind", thereby developing a NEGATIVE OUTLOOK or DISPOSITION and thus DEVELOPING A BITTER, and CYNICAL heart. We may NOT like our situation (and in MOST cases "we" WON'T), BUT, because WE "Are CHRISTIANS"; because we are a "Chosen Generation; because we are a Royal Priesthood; because we are a Holy Nation and a Peculiar People"...WE... "SHOULD"... LOVE...GOD and WE...MUST...TRUST..."HIS"...WILL FOR OUR LIVES!
The Bible says "And going a little further, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me, nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire" (Matt.26:39 AMP).
The Bible also says "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome" (Jer.29:11 AMP). Is that where the phrase "Trusting God's Purposes" came from......Hmmm?!!?

MyHotCommentsTerry, the STRONGEST evidence of a relationship with God is FAITH. ONLY those who know God will trust Him. If you are struggling in the area of FAITH, spend EVEN MORE time by getting to know God by showing yourself approved to Him in your studying, by meditating AND confessing His Holy Word with BOLDNESS! You see, FAITH applies the knowledge from a PERSONAL relationship with God to the practical or fundamental details of life; It is at the heart of experiencing the VERY ESSENCE of the MOST HIGH GOD, EL-ELYON!
The Bible says "He did not weaken in faith when he considered the utter impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's deadened womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised. That is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God). But the words, It was credited to him, were written not for his sake alone, but they were written for our sakes too. Righteousness, standing acceptable to God will be granted and credited to us also who believe in (trust in, adhere to, and rely on) God.(Rom.4:19-24 AMP.) Hmmmm??!?

Terry, one of the "Perks" of being a "Child of God" is being able to see and experience things that people w/out Christ CANNOT. For instance, the people who walk in "darkness" can "ONLY" experience the 4 seasons of this planet: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall; however, there is another season.......a 5th season, that ONLY the "Children of God" are entitled to experience, and in this 5th season, our Heavenly Father is able to do Exceeding and Abundantly above "ALL" we may Ask or Think according to the Power that works both in us and through us [which is the Holy Spirit]. What is this 5th season that I am referring to? I am talking about none other than "Due Season"!
The Bible says "And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not". (Gal.6:9 KJV) The Amplified Bible reads "And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint". Hmmmm???!?
So I remind me, and encourage you (my brothers & sisters [in Christ]), "Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward". (Heb.10:35 Amp.)

As you know, many have lost their jobs this year and or looking for jobs. It is our responsibilty as brothers and sisters in Christ to help those that are less fortunate. Hey I was just passing by, trying to inspire and motivate. You know sometimes life brings us a challenge...Bills to pay...kids to raise....relationship issues. These are all tough to handle.
