My Name is Terry Ray Thomas and I have never won any awards, done any major touring, nor entered/won any contests. I just enjoy writing songs and playing them once in awhile for whomever will listen. They're not great songs with deep philosophical meaning, or ingeneous ways to say the same old thing. They're just words with music. Lucky for me I was blessed enough to be born in the United States of America, and had enough open on my credit cards to record a CD.
So, I created my own label, New Old Guy Music (TM), signed myself, and released a CD titled "Still Finding My Way". It consists of 12 original songs written by me. In addition to myself on lead vocal and acoustic guitar, this CD also features the top notch musicianship and vocals of: Jeannine O'Neal, Scott Joss, Bobby Black, Tom Tomasello, Jeff Scroggins, Alex Gonzales, and Joe Ferrante. No matter what you think of the music; the musicians that I am fortunate enough to feature are AMAZING.
If you like my music, please leave a comment. If you don't like my music, please leave a comment. I realize that my material is not on par with whatever is on the airwaves, or American Idol. But I like it. It's pretty good country flavored music.
So, thanks for stopping by, and please check out some of the other bands and musicians that are in my friends.
The world serves us what it considers important, urgent, vital It prefers speed Effectiveness Results Ostentation Noise The illusion of certainty I wish for you to celebrate what serves no purpose I wish you beauty I wish for you to string pearls I wish for you to dream with your feet dangling in a pretty brook I wish for you to listen to birdsong I wish for you to lie down in a broad, poppy-strewn meadow I wish for you to have a small bike in your head I wish for you to experience love at first sight I wish for you " to carry coals to Newcastle" I wish for you to seek beauty Within yourself For yourself I wish for you only what is free Gracious Grace

Thanks for stopping by! I am actually doing very well now, and thanks for the kind words about Tristan. Everyone keeps telling me that soon I will be known as Tristan's dad, and if so, that will be very good indeed. Afterall, I am going to need a retirement plan.
Hey, thanks for the comment Terry. Glad you like that "Sail Away Ladies". I learned it from the Old-Time fiddlin' folks here in Northern New Mexico. It's a lot of fun to play.
