The Honky Punks started out as a solo project for The Reverend Terry Rice. His band DARK HUMOR was slowly fading out and his musical style was leaning more towards a more country feel. After recording Poor White Trash with some friends for a compilation release through Antidote Records Rev realized that his heart was more into THE HONKY PUNKS.. and it became his default project. Rev met Ninja at a local tattoo shop and have been playing together since. Producer Dave Hyde was just added as bass player as well (formerly of Those Naked Guys & Showoff and currently fronting JESUS FUCKING CHRIST AND THE GOD DAMNITS) Currently signed to Riotous Records and recording a new record "PIG SICK" with the famous DAVE HYDE. -
