Terry has released three solo artist CDs, "TERRY SILVERLIGHT", "WILD!!" and "DIAMOND IN THE RIFF" which he composed and arranged all the music for. These CDs feature performances by Will Lee, Paul Shaffer, Edgar Winter, Hiram Bullock, Lew Soloff, Barry Miles, Chuck Loeb, Charles Blenzig, Aaron Heick, Glenn Alexander, Mike Ricchiuti, John Clark, Danny Wilensky, Bob Kensmotsu, Tabitha Fair, Bob Malach, Larry Farrell, Allan Molnar and Jeff Ciampa.
Terry has also released four compilations showcasing his pop songwriting/production/arranging. SONGWRITER/PRODUCER: Volumes I & II are original songs written, produced, arranged, recorded, mixed, mastered, and all the instruments played and programmed entirely by Terry Silverlight. COLLABORATIONS: Volumes I & II are original songs by Terry Silverlight co-written with a variety of hit songwriters.
Co-writers include Judy Hart Angelo (she co-wrote the TV show CHEERS theme song, WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME), Alexandra Forbes (she co-wrote DON'T RUSH ME for Taylor Dayne), Oliver Leiber (he wrote OPPOSITES ATTRACT for Paula Abdul), Gene McDaniels (he wrote FEEL LIKE MAKING LOVE), Jeff Franzel and Alexandra Forbes (they wrote DON'T RUSH ME for Taylor Dayne), Barry Miles (he wrote songs with Maya Angelou and Brenda Russell for Roberta Flack), Cynthia Biggs (she co-wrote IF ONLY YOU KNEW for Patti LaBelle), Ellison Chase (he wrote songs for Jermaine Jackson, Chaka Khan, Pointer Sisters), Peggy Stanziale (she co-wrote ALL DRESSED UP for Madonna), Marjorie Maye (she co-wrote A NEW DAY HAS COME for Celine Dion), and April Start, Amy Fairchild, Annie Quick, Antje Zumbansen, Amy Ward, Agona Hardison, Alan Pugielli, Mattie Matthews, PJ Lequerica.
Terry wrote the new single, EXOTIQUE, for dance artist SAFIRE which is a current club hit.
She recorded the original version of Michael Jackson's, THIS IS IT, which she had a hit with in the late '80's.

The TERRY SILVERLIGHT BAND has performed at several notable New York venues including BIRDLAND, THE CUTTING ROOM, THE METROPOLITAN CAFE, JAZZ FORUM ARTS, and BRONXNET TV STUDIO. The album TERRY SILVERLIGHT- LIVE! features selections from these live performances.
Terry's drum instruction book "THE FEATURED DRUMMER" published by Music Sales, is available at Borders, Barnes & Noble and anywhere music instruction books are sold. The book is accompanied by an audio CD of Terry playing the exercises backed by Barry Miles and John Patitucci.
Terry Silverlight has been involved with many facets of the music business and has contributed his musical talents as a leader, composer, producer, arranger, drummer, author and educator to projects in almost every style of music. He began his recording career at the age of 14 when he played drums on his brother Barry Miles’s album "White Heat", an innovative harbinger of the fusion movement. Since then, he’s performed all over the world and has played drums on gold and platinum recordings for Billy Ocean, George Benson, Natalie Merchant, Freddie Jackson, Stephanie Mills, Tom Jones, Laura Nyro, Anne Murray, Mel Torme, Jennifer Holladay, Phil Woods, The Fania All -Stars, The CTI All-Stars, Jonathan Butler, movie scores for One Fine Day, You've Got Mail, Object Of My Affection, Titus, Frida, Slaves Of New York, What Planet Are You From, and countless jingles and TV shows. Terry has toured extensively with artists such as Roberta Flack and the award-winning, all-star, Manhattan Jazz Orchestra lead by arranger David Matthews.
