Singer songwriter playing mostly acoustic songs with a folk country feel.
I have played guitar now for many years but, as most people, I am still learning. Every time you pick a guitar up there is some new riff, new tuning, finger picking or strumming pattern to be tested!
I find that the guitar is a very relaxing pastime and song writting is an added bonus. Most of my songs have come from just sitting down in front of my computer and letting the words flow.I normally write them as a poem then once adjusted sit in my home studio and try different chord patterns till I am happy. My wife is my best critic and I often test a song out late at night with her comments either helping the song along, being put on the back burner or thrown away. My songs are normally about my feelings on a particular subject and I hope always make people listen and work out their own views.

Its a fantastic night and the standard of the people that perform is amazing, it was an absolute pleasure, I hope to come back again sooner as it was almost a year between my last performance there and this week...scary huh?! :s
