PASTOR LARRY DONNELL LEONARD II is a thirty-four year old Houstonian who was born in Monroe, Louisiana to Larry and Dorothy Leonard. He is the eldest brother of LaShanna and Shamah Leonard. He is also the husband to Shuwana and the proud father of four children, Aaliyah, Le’Ana, Larry III, and Lavar Leonard. He is a 1992 graduate of Eisenhower High School. He attended both North Harris Community College and Grambling State University where he studied business management and participated in the baseball program.
In December of 1987 at the age of 13 young Pastor Larry Leonard II was called to the ministry where he served under his father Bishop L.D. Leonard Sr., pastor of Morning Star Full Gospel Baptist Church. He became the Assistant Pastor of Morning Star at the age of 19 and served there until his father’s resignation in August of 2004. At the age of 26, he pastored one of his father’s churches, Victory Bible Church in Bryan, Texas for 18 months and ordained a minister in that area to pastor the ministry. He is the founder of Teshua Ministries which is equipt to encourage families about salvation and surviving satans' attempts of seperation.
In September of 2008, he and his family will begin a worship experience like no other. Victory Fellowship Church will press on issues on restoring families and bringing consecration back into the body of Christ. Pastor Leonard has always been a visionary and will continue to seek opportunities for growth as a man of God and businessman. He is a man of heart, integrity, and self-empowerment. "My life has been through a lot of things and it is now in my life that I know that I have to return to GOD. Im not in this world to cheat people or even hate ideas that some may suggest.
