Because of its success and many demo submissions a sister label called AGENT FUNK was set up. One of its first releases “Love Strings ep” was licensed by Caballero and was featured on Ministry of Sound, LBELM & ZYX 2008 Compilations. “Copy Rat ep" was playlisted on BBC Radio 1 for three weeks, was No.1 for 6 weeks @ junodownload and is appearing on IN BED WITH SPACE Compilation. Tested Records and its sister label AGENT FUNK is the brainchild of Angel Anx and Aleksij (With previous & forthcoming productions gracing labels such as Toolroom, Stereo, Cr2, GoDeeva these guys sure know what a great beats sound like). Angel Anx has been scheming for years about starting his very own label, waiting for just the right moment to unleash his master plan. Tested Records is not about to make music biz history and execute a revolution or bore you by waxing poetic about their original musical philosophies. But if we have to adhere to a "mission statement," how about the notion of being an honest, artist friendly label run on a shoe string with no outrageous promotional or production costs. This label will be a home to Angel Anx eclectic musical collaborations as well as a place where producers we admire will have the freedom to release music they might not be able to, or want to, release on other labels.
Tested Records was designed with the musician in mind, and for those whose tastes are not satisfied by the popular music industry. We want to be your source for specialty recordings featuring the best in house, electronica and other music genres. We will try to provide as many World Premiere records as possible, and you can always count on the recordings and performances to be of the highest quality. You will be able to listen and read about each track, including reviews and biographies of the artists.
