On a scale of one to ten, cover bands usually range from a weak three to at the most a six (if you're feeling really generous). Where do we begin.OH MY GOD! I was lucky enough to have seen the band at a gig before hand and I knew instantly I wanted them for our wedding, and boy we were not disappointed. If you have never heard/seen/listened to the Texan Peacocks before you need to get off your backsides now and make the effort!................................................................................................................
We rocked the night away with the superb Texan Peacocks. We could not have asked for a better bunch of people and such a fantastic sounding band that played a great mix of rock songs. We have no hesitation in recommending them for any occasion and if anyone is thinking about booking, dont ponder ... just do it!................................................................................................................
The musicianship of the band is superb and frontman Tex's vocals are quite stunning, his pitch perfect delivery enhancing every song. His range of styles from Sting to Liam Gallagher to Morrisey, and more.. is remarkable. Top solid drumming, warm driving bass, super harmonies and percussion; and rip-snorting guiter playing from the other four guys certainly complete the brilliant Peacocks sound...............................................................................................................
Stratford on a damp autumn evening..long week at work... ended up in small venue with a crowd made up people of all ages moshing to one of the best cover bands Ive ever seen. Fantastic! There is something that sets Texan Peacocks aside from other cover bands. They do songs they love with passion and an uncanny precision; Rolling Stones, XTC, Blondie, The Smiths, Undertones, Kaiser Chiefs... Frontman, Tex, leads the band with tongue firmly in cheek and with a panache that makes the songs on the Texan Peacocks set list seem like their own rather than an array of covers from the last 40 years. We are aiming to get into the top 20 UK chart with the single 'Ask Away' - The single is in memory of our bassist/vocalist Tim Brown and it would be the best lasting memory we could do for him.

I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with pill bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from BASRIM.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls.
