This site is something i thought i would try an experiment.. since 1987 i have been recording all the blues shows i attended , so i figured what the hell maybe just see how this works and put some of the fantastic stuff i recorded on this space and see if anybody objects . If your in one of the bands i post and do not want your music heard , please E-Mail me and i will take it off !!!! i wont put anything thats not good on this site .. its a shame that all this Live Blues has to sit in a cedar chest forever and dye with me. i have 1000s of tapes all recorded with a sony professional walkman , pretty good quality. if anybody has any request feel free to e-mail me !!! i hope to change songs weekly if the wife permits LOL ... 3) .... some of us old Tx folks been a few years outta the loop, and since ya seem to have a damm good grip on archives and such ... I was just hoping.
4) ... I left the Dallas/Ft Worth area in '80 ... i didn't know anyone knew who Juke Jumpers were ... last saw them at Bluebird '79
5) ...saw Johnny Reno & Sax Maniacs in N.O. at "Jimmy's" on my off night while doing gig at Absinthe Bar on Bourban&Conti Street in '83
6) Back at Poor Davids pub right after Anson went from Bees Knees to the Rockets ... who was their upright bass player? was it Mark Hickman?
7) At that same time period who was the killer harp player that played with Mark Pollack and the Midnighers? (yeah I could ask mark, but for some reason he doesn't put that group name in his texas portfolio) all I know is the harp player was from Austin and came into Dallas whenever he could.
8) Does the name Robert Wisdom or his band(s) "Driving Wheel" or "Blue Wave" ring any bells
