About me: Blues, blues, and more blues is what Texas Blues Radio is all about! KNON has been the radio voice for the blues in Dallas, Texas since 1983. Broadcasting at 55,000 watts FM stereo, our signal reaches a 75-100 mile radius around the Dallas/Fort Worth area, reaching almost 6 million potential listeners. We have 5 blues shows in the Texas Blues Radio format which is broadcast between 6 pm and 8 pm, Monday through Friday, central time zone. We also stream LIVE on the internet via the station website at KNON.org
We have released 4 Dallas/Fort Worth Blues compilation CDs featuring more than 50 different area blues artists doing original songs. Volume 1, 2, 3, and 4 are SOLD OUT and will not be re-pressed. Volume 5 is in the works RIGHT NOW.

Please don't beg us to "Check out the MP3's on my page!!" Just send us your CD if you want it to be considered for airplay. The whole point of having 6 different blues DJs is that we all like different stuff. Once it's logged into our stacks, it's available for everyone to use, or not, at their discretion. We have no mandated playlists and we all play what we love. Old school.
