    South Texas Amateur Football

    December 12, 2009 South Texas Amateur Football will hold a charity game to benefit Boys Town Texas. Our goal for this wonderful day is to raise money and gifts for the children at Boys Town. We cannot do it alone. We need your help.

    How can you help?
    Come out to the game and donate!

    Boys Town Texas is in need of gift cards to give to the children throughout the year. These are used for birthdays, graduations, rewards for good report cards etc. Also needed are clothes, under clothes, socks, shoes for their emergency shelter.

    Boys Town Texas houses both girls and boys ages 8 thru 18. If you can help out in any way please contact Eloy Vera 210-707-0692 or Boys Town Texas and ask for Elizabeth Collet at 210-271-1010.


    "One person can do so much, but as a community we can accomplish the unthinkable".


    We are seeking company sponsors for this event as well.


    Event Schedule:


    3:30 pm Live Country Music


    4:45 pm National Anthem


    4:55 pm Coin Toss-Special Guest of Honor


    5:00 pm Kick Off--Texas Heat VS Texas Mavericks


    Half Time- Donate all gifts to Boys Town Texas


    Cheer Dance by Lady Heat Rays and Texas Mavericks Cheerleaders.


    South Side Little Cowboys has gladly allowed us to host our charity event at their facility.

    Admission- $5.00 per person

    $3.00 Kids 7 and Under


    All proceeds from the gate will be donated to Boys Town Texas and 50% of concession will also go to Boys Town Texas.

    FOR ALL BULLDOGS!!!! WE NEED TO GET TO PRACTICE WED. IF YOU HAVE A TEAMMATES NUMBER, CALL THEM AND TELL'EM TO GET THERE. WE PLAY THE GAMEBREAKERS IN 2 WEEKS. WE CAN SMASH THESE GUYS, BUT WE HAVE TO COME TOGETHER AND PRACTICE. WE ARE PLAYING IN AUSTIN, SO THERE IS NO EXCUSE ABOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL OUT OF TOWN. ONCE WE ALL SHOW UP TO PRACTICE AND SEE HOW WE CLICK TOGETHER, WE JUST TRANSFER THAT ONTO THE FIELD VS GAMEBREAKERS AND ITS ROUND 2 BABY!
