About the Editor Denise Martin: From San Antonio, Texas. A former J.V. and Varsity high school head-cheerleader, 2-time NCA All-American, 2-year NCA Instructor, San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancer, Business Owner and Founder and Co-Owner of Texas Cheerleader Magazine.
Spending many years in the corporate world I received a wealth of knowledge in Direct Sales & Marketing which I now apply to making TCM a successful magazine. AA Degree in Communications, English-Austin Community College (a personal accomplishment that I am very proud of). Located in Round Rock, Texas-which was recently named The Sports Capital of Texas. I love to highlight the sport of cheerleading in Texas because there is so much talent in our state.
Married to a wonderful and loving gentleman, Ross Martin of Austin, Texas. He
is a graduate of Westlake High School and The University of Texas at San Antonio, Degree, Biology-Minor, Chemistry. A former soccer super star, traveling to Brazil and several other countries to compete with the state team. He is a true professional with a lot of drive, motivation, super funny, likeable personality and he loves cheerleading. As the VP and Co-owner of Texas Cheerleader Magazine, Ross' in depth knowledge of the IT and technology industry along with sales & marketing, adds a new dimension to the growth of our exciting publication. We met working together and believe in the TEAM concept in order to reach success!
