First and foremost, The Fine Line supports, promotes and celebrates local and regional (Texas baby) music, art, photography and culture.
Cindy Chaffin solely founded and launched TexasGigs.com in October of 2002. TexasGigs.com was a local/regional Texas-based music blog and provided a comprehensive concert calender, band links, venue links, music news, live webcasts, audio Podcasts and more.
In November of 2005, TexasGigs.com merged with Pegasus News, which eventually led to dissolution of the partnership and the sale of the TexasGigs.com's content, URL, domain name and logo to Pegasus News.
On June 10th, 2006, Cindy Chaffin launched The Fine Line.
The Fine Line is dedicated to covering the local and regional music scene, with a dash of the national scene and a dose of the international scene.
The Fine Line also offers lots of online multi-media including live performances, as well as audio/video interviews with local, regional, national and international bands, artists, producers, photographers and more! It's all about the culture baby!
