WHAT THE FANS SAY:
"Hello,
While in Dallas for the weekend I had a chance to catch Wade at the songwriters circle in Ft Worth and really enjoyed his music. I bought the Cd "A Million Miles From Nashville" and love his song " Battered By the Bottle". I was able to get the lyrics off your web site. However, if Wade ever has a chance could he please email me the chord progression of the song. I would just love to learn it.
Thanks,
Bob
Virginia, USA"
We are a Texas Country Band. Our song list include standards by Hank, George, Merle, Johnny...you get the picture. Mixed in with our own originals we perform songs written by well known Texas artists like Radney Foster, Robert Earl Keene, Pat Green, and then probably some more Radney. (I'll warn you about Robin...she's the President of the Radney Foster Fan Club.) We also play some regionally well known artists such as Houston Marchman, Mike Blakely, Thomas Michael Riley, Tommy Alverson, Bodie Powell, Jon Christopher Davis, Bryan David Smith, Brett Watts and a few others we've met along the way. "A Million Miles from Nashville", our first CD, is " just us". No session players, recorded live in the studio. It leans a little Honky-Tonk. We hope you enjoy the dancin'...and remember to "Get a Hat On!" You can email us at texashatband@aol.com, or visit our website at www.texashatband.com. Our CD is available at www.ReRanch.com...just click on the "Record" link. Thanks for keepin' it real, and keep supporting Texas music!
THANK YOU to everyone who voted for the Texas Hat Band in the "LIVE BAND OF THE YEAR" catagory. The voting is over; because of YOU, we had the distinct honor of being named "LIVE BAND OF THE YEAR, 2007"! You all helped get us there. For that, we could never thank you enough. God bless, and we love you all.
*** MERCH!!!! *** MERCH!!!! *** WE GOT MERCH!!!! ***
Check it out at www.texashatband.com...and get a Hat On!
Thanks for co-hosting Songwriters in the Round with Brett Watts and thanks to both of you for inviting me to play today. I had a blast, even if I might have been a little out of place.
Currently, we're playing locally here in the greater Houston area BUT if you or someone you know would like to book the band or our acoustic duo show we'll travel just about anywhere. Drop me a line at mike@parrish-hundley.com!!!!

Thanks for the add. Ever since my return from Austin last year I have been on a hunt for the best Texas has to offer in the way of Country music. Its artists like you that make me want your music for my music library.
Hello Wade. I saw you perform with Aubrey and his brother at the White Elephant, "songwriters in the Round" Sunday. You guys were all awesome. I don't know if you remember Paul and myself. We did one song. Anyways, we were both invited to perform at FWSA's 11th Annual Winter Showcase, to be held on Sunday, February 1st at the White Elephant Saloon, in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Showcase performances will be 30 minutes in length. Showcase performances will begin at 4 PM and end at 11 PM. I hope to see you there. I am looking so forward to it.
