The current line-up at the studio is:

Shanty - over 19 years experience, and a well known, and respected artist in a large geographical area, including Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, and more.

Shanty is a Professional Member of the APT, and has been since 1994.

Babette - Body Piercer since 2001, began tattoo apprenticeship in 2002 (yes, all the fun stuff - making needles, scrubbing tubes, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc....) began tattooing friends/victims in mid 2003, did first paid for/studio tattoo in 2004. Started tattooing "full time" late 2005/early 2006.

Babette is an Associate Member of the APT, starting in 2006.

J.D. Julian - currently starting his apprenticeship.

Texas Inkslingers was brought to life in November of 1993. The orginal partners were Shanty Jinkins and Mike "Bones" Hamby. Bones passed away in 2000, and even though at the time, he was no longer actually working in the studio, he will always be considered part of it.

Over the years, Shanty has remained the constant in the mix. While he has had several people working for him, he has remained the owner, and main artist since Bones left.
