HISTORY OF WARBEAST (Formerly Texas Metal Alliance)
WARBEAST features RIGOR MORTIS vocalist Bruce Corbitt, GAMMACIDE guitarists Rick Perry and Scott Shelby, GAMMACIDE/DEVILFIST bassist Alan Bovee and DEMONSEED drummer Joe Gonzalez.
The band was originally formed in the Fall of 2006 under the name TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE for a one-time performance to play a benefit show for HAMMER WITCH bassist/vocalist Wayne Abney. Abney had suffered a near-fatal motorcycle accident in August 2006. TMA's performance for the benefit included special guest members from some of Dallas/Ft. Worth's original thrash bands... GAMMACIDE, RIGOR MORTIS, ROTTING CORPSE and HAMMER WITCH. After the benefit, some of the core members that made up TMA decided to make it a real band.
Since then the band has done many live shows around Texas and written a lot of original material. The band recorded a 4 song demo in Dec 2007 and a 5 song demo in Sept 2008. In April 2009 the band officially changed their name to WARBEAST. WARBEAST entered the studio on April 10 to record their debut full-length CD that will be released later in 2009 on Philip Anselmo's Housecore Records

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
