"The 3rd Annual Texas Cannabis Crusade is less than a month away, and we need all the help we can muster to make it happen seamlessly.

Texas NORML and Outgrow Big Bro spend literally thousands of dollars and man-hours to make the Cannabis Crusade happen, and without dedicated supporters there is no way we could do it.

Please consider making a donation (any amount, even $2 will help) to help us pay for all the things we have to pay for: park reservation, South Capitol steps reservation, port-o-potties, water, advertising (print & radio), supplies for signs and other stuff.
You can make a donation directly to Texas NORML here:
    http://texasnorml.org/?page_id=230

If you are able to make a larger donation of $100 or more, and can be in attendance on May 1st, you should consider purchasing a VIP pass to the Cannabis Crusade!

A VIP pass will get you:
Reserved Seat on stage at The Capitol
    VIP Badge
    Texas Cannabis Crusade Shirt
    Meal Tickets
    Bottled Water
    Treats too special to mention

    VIP Passes are available here:

Also, if you are able/willing to be a volunteer worker for the Texas Cannabis Crusade on May 1st, please contact:
    volunteer@texasnorml.org
Cannabis Crusade volunteers will get a Cannabis Crusade shirt for working a short 3-4 hour shift!

And, please forward this message on to all your friends, family, and acquaintances.

Since July I have been trying to cancel my myspace account and as you see I have had no luck at all. Now that myspace so rudely changed everything and whipped out years of intense and hard work building a profile that defines me and all of us they fucked it all up. So I am blasting in order to try and get kicked off so I am asking everyone to report me for spam or anything you can do to help me get deleted. I am a musical artist but I see no use in this cyber prison and I choose to be free.
Thanks for everything:-) Blessings and catch me on facebook.com/ merumatu

d00d there is no way I can get to Austin but thanks. The president of my NORMAL club here at South Texas College told me about the 6th street event, but all Im interested in is the actual legal distribution and possession laws to work with my system. So drop him an email if and when you can for his on campus campaign of the NORMAL chapter at STC to (danmayes60@yahoo.com). I would really appreciate it, but propaganda is not my section, I wanna by pass the bs 'medical' reasons and make cannabis legal to the individuals under my program that protects you from the public no matter what. Thank you very much if you respond before I see him in the morning

About me:

Texas NORML's mission is to achieve the repeal of marijuana/cannabis prohibition so that the responsible use of cannabis by adults is no longer subject to penalty. The penalties surrounding cannabis are far more damaging to people, and society, than use of the substance. The “war on drugs”, specifically marijuana, has wasted BILLIONS of tax dollars imprisoning hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens, while destroying their lives and families; all for a plant that has never been shown to be the cause of a single death.

A nonprofit public-interest advocacy group, Texas NORML represents the interests of tens of millions of Americans who smoke marijuana responsibly. We are dedicated to informing the public of the many uses of cannabis including medical, industrial, and recreational. And we will continue the fight to reform state and federal marijuana laws by better educating the public about marijuana and marijuana policy options.

Texas NORML has supported and/or worked in conjunction with other law reform organizations including the Colorado based organization, SAFER (Safer Alternative For Enjoyable Recreation). In early 2006, Texas NORML worked in conjunction with SAFER to pass a student referendum (with 64% of the vote) at the University of Texas in Austin, which called for the equalization of the penalties for alcohol and marijuana.

We have regular Texas NORML meetings at the Flamingo Cantina, 515 E. 6th St, Austin, TX, the first Wednesday of every month at 8:00 PM. During meetings we discuss recent relevant news and upcoming events in Texas and nation-wide, and the meeting will be followed by Flamingo Cantina's "Good Vibes Wednesday" featuring roots/Reggae/DUB music.
