I'm 26 (and stopping there) I love God and I always have. But only recently did I really "know" God personally like I thought I did before. I seriously love Texas (like alot) I'll never move, ever. I have a semi useful degree in child psychology and religious studies. So last year..my life changed. I found out that anything is possible with God in control. In life, even something that seems horrible, can be turned around and used to glorify God. Last year I was raped, suppressed it and pregnancy, had a beautiful perfect baby girl, fell in love with her, and placed her for adoption with a great family that loves her more than life! I get updates every 6 months on her and she is growing like a weed, spoiled, and a very happy little girl.

God has done so much for so many people through all this! I’m just a little piece in this huge beautiful puzzle now, that only makes sense looking back afterward. I never planned my life to be this way, but it was never my life to begin with, it was God’s. And now that it happened, I wouldn’t have it any other way! I got to see life from a view most people never get to. I had never felt love before like I did after I had my daughter, it’s hard to even describe. I just wanted her to have the best of everything and to protect her from everything in this world as much as I could. It was the most painful day of my life, but also the most joyful day too, when I gave my daughter to here mom & dad. To see the look on their faces and the family all together...I just knew God meant her to be with them all along. They had been praying for her since day one!

Most adoptions happen 4 days after birth, but because of legal issues w father & signing, I GOT A WHOLE 31 DAYS with her! They were the best days of my life! Everyone was worried I would get too attached, and of course I did! But I wanted to love her as much as I could, while I could. I think I proved to agency that a birth mom can get attached & still go through with the adoption. We do it because we love them, not because we "weren't attached yet." But I miss her more than anything now! It will be a long long 17 year wait to hopefully see her and hold her again. I didn't ever think it could (or anything could) hurt this bad. It's like loosing or "giving away" a piece of you bigger than we know.

I learned a lot, but most importantly how precious life is & how lucky we are to be given it. Everything I do or receive in life is because of His Grace, I'm just thankful to of lived this long...and each new day is a gift I didn't deserve.

There were more crazy twists & turns during it all. I got eclampesia, where I almost died?& then emergency natural labor(some advil,ha) She had a false alarm illness, hospital on the 15th day. I suppressed rape & pregnancy until the 7th mo!(like PTSD amnesia) I lived w/ 30 pregnant women in dorms & lot of other fun stuff that all connected together in the end.
