Influences
I am an artist, and yes along with being a artist I believe there are responsibilities that come along with be one. So for this section, i chose to write this myself. From me to you.
My influences? My influences are loud mouth, obnoctions, irritating, intelligent individuals. Who seem ignorant, almost alergic to oppression. The reason i say this is, at this time in our country we are experiencing manipulative people in power at its finest hour. Along side of that us as a whole, we are afraid of standing up and speaking out.
So with that being said, people like President Lincoln, President J.F. Kennedy, Che Guevara, Martin L. King, Rosa Parks, down to Betty Friedan and her book "The Feminine Mystique" to "Today's" speakers our Bob Marley, U2, Tupac's, Biggie's, and yes, our most recent Kanye West saying soming like "George Bush doesn't care about black people". A lot of people choose to say that it wasn't the correct time but like the actress Jurnee Smollett from the movie THE GREAT DEBATERS "When is the right time?" The right time is right now, with that said as a artist you listen to, i feel obligated to give you a no holds back, raw, explicit world from my point of view ( a speaker for the streets) in a commercial sound.
