The Tidewater Friends of Folk Music is a non-profit 501(c3)
organization, run strictly by volunteers dedicated to bringing quality
folk music to the Hampton Roads area. Formed to advance, preserve, and
promote "traditional", "contemporary" folk and "world music" in the
community. Through the sponsorship of concerts, festivals, music
workshops and activities, TFFM provides a focus for anyone who enjoys
folk music and its culture.
Ticket Prices to a Tidewater Friends of Folk Music concert vary depending on the artist. The ticket price for general admission is always $4 higher then that of a Tidewater Friends of Folk Music member a.k.a. TFFM member. To become a TFFM member you must join and pay yearly dues.
We offer a senior citizen (age 60) and active military discount which is slightly higher then the TFFM ticket.
Children age 7-17 are half of the attending adult ticket.
On occasion there will be a concert that offers a discounted ticket price for buying your tickets in advance. At-the-Door the ticket will be $4.00 higher for both general admission and TFFM members.
Always remember, no matter what you read or may hear our shows are not FREE.

Hello TFFM friends - I used to hang out in the 1970s at Ramblin Conrad's with Zentz, Proescher, Curry, and the like. Just want to say hi to all my old friends if you're still around. Drop me a line, I'd love to hear from you. - John Bealle
Thanks to everyone for the very warm welcome at our show on Saturday night (2/23). The gig was a lot of fun, and made even better by your warm hospitality. All the best to Tidewater Friends of Folk Music. Thanks again!
What a great way to promote singers. It's nice of you to start this page. Thanks for adding me and putting me on your top list:) Oh if I can add this, if there are any guitarists looking for a singer please drop me a note. Again thanks Stella
It's great to see you here on myspace, TFFM! When my wife and I used to live on the Southside (1980s!) we enjoyed attending your concerts at Ramblin' Conrads on Military Highway. I especially remember seeing John Fahey, The Battlefied Band, Eric Bogle, and Tom Paxton there.
Best from north of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel,
:)Steve
