tfo’s elegantly crafted music is a complimentary blend of indie, electronic, and melodic retro pop sounds. It is pop without the cliché, dance without the repetition, and retro without the novelty. Simply put, it is good music.
The songs of tfo's upcoming full-length entitled Grand Strategy, combine intricately programmed beats, beautifully sculpted synths, meticulously performed & arranged instrumentation, and evocative vocal melodies.
tfo is the musical alias of seasoned composer, producer, DJ, and performer Timothy O’Keefe. His work has been praised in a variety of publications including Wire, Future Music Magazine, The Village Voice, Boston Phoenix, Providence Phoenix, and The Boston Globe.
Not only an artist and performer, Tim has also been instrumental in promoting music culture in America’s Northeast through a variety of events including The IndieArts Fest, a free annual music & arts festival in Providence, RI. Tim currently resides in Providence and runs Cozy Music which is digitally distributed worldwide by IRIS Distribution.

The Providence Open Market is now accpeting applications for our 2007 season. Opening Day is May 12th, the Market runs every Saturday thereafter through October 27th! Spaces are 10x10, the fee is 50.00 per Saturday, students pay 25.00. If you know of someone...pass this along.
