I regret to inform you that on The 1st of January 2008, we lost a dear friend and commrade in Carl "50/50" Fearon of The UK's 57th Dynasty. His passing comes as a blow to us all, as he had just celebrated his 26th Birthday on the 30th of December. At this time our thoughts and condolonces are with the family. We will endeavor to have a true memorial site, and tribute day organised with the help of artistes and DJ's nation-wide.

Apart from 57th Dynasty, Paradise has countless features on indie and major releases & compilations including Guy Ritchie's Mean Machine Original Soundtrack, starring in a VH1 nationwide commercial for their Millennium project, and also CO-produced/ and starred in a MTV series of idents BITE SIZE news shorts THE NEWS ACCORDING TO 57TH DYNASTY. After a three year hiatus, Paradise has now returned to the scene with a loud WAKE-UP CALL! Balancing art with Purpose.
The Good Samaritan Music Project: is a musical initiative to raise awareness and bring relevant issues to the forefront of young people's minds via edu-tainment (educating & entertaining). TGSMP utilizes the essences of Hiphop, R&B, Contemporary Jazz, Poetry, Reggae/Ragga, UK-Garage/Grime, and G-hop to relate and deliver moral, social, and ethical value messages that are all but void in today's popular music streams.
"Given the turmoils of my own past, and the fact that I survived and am here today blessed to see age 30, I know within my heart that this is the right thing to do with the music... Its up to us to teach the truth to our youth. Be not confused, for me this is not a religious righteous cause, its simply the right thing to do because."
In all honesty, I was weak on my deen and never devout enough with any other religion, I'm guided by my moral compass which is my truth barometer. I've watched and listened to the music which I embrassed in the 70's come full circle to lead younger generations astray. From fake-ass-thugs (real thugs dont promote prison to the youngins unless they're taking advantage of em') to the demoralisation of our Queens. I know the mass media is to blame, but where is the accountability for the gravity of one's owns words? From the Bronx to Brixton, I've been through it, I know how to do it, and I dont wanna see em fall victim to it!
With the music project we create a soundscape of thought provoking/discussion initiating music that tackles relevant issues. We have successfully enlisted the talents of well established performance artists (US and UK, The Continent & Europe) along with motivational speakers to accompany the many VOICES of our many hard-to-reach youth inorder to marry the artform with purpose.
