TGV has the classically bare essentials: Guitar, Bass, Drums. TGV plays a kind of Art New Wave: controlled, but with emotional raptures. Popsongs with kickin refrains (listen to Im A Boy and try not to get it stuck in your head). But they also know how to rock fortunately without the arbitrary goal of just doing something different. TGV stays in control of their musical creations, and of the figures in their texts in their private struggles.
Three women, friends, taking the stage as a matter of course -- self-understood as it ought to be. If something is on their mind, they say it. And when theyre having a good time, it radiates. The concerts are always a blast. This is due to the intermingling of their three personalities, and of course also to the songs. It would be nice to hear them a bit more often, and at home, but as yet they have only released a 7 single and an EP is due to release in May. Hopefully soon there will be more albums forthcoming.
