Hailing from London, THABANI, the Roots-Soul collective combine Soul, Afro and Groove influences to their potent mix of brilliant front line tunes with a contemporary edge.

The band played 4 fantastic shows in Japan in Feb 2008! The shows were promoted by Parties 4 Peace in conjunction with Kultural Fusion Promotions. The Japanese crowds were wowed by funk, soul, afrobeat sounds of THABANI! and they have offered the band a return visit in November 2008.
The band will be performing in several University festivals in the UK as well as featuring at the AUSTRIA JAZZ FESTIVAL, MALTA JAZZ FESTIVAL, KNUST CLUB IN GERMANY, CROYDON JAZZ FESTIVAL,ISLE OF WIGHT JAZZ FESTIVAL, REGGAE & SOUL FESTIVAL (London), VIRGIN SPONSORED ' CARIBBEAN SOUL FESTIVAL (Midlands) CMJ MUSIC FESTIVAL (NEW YORK) JAPAN TOUR (NOV 2008) and many more events over the coming year, the group have also been featured on RED TV music station where they performed to 3 MILLION People on the Sky TV music channel!!
NEW MANAGEMENT IN 2008!
The band have just secured management with HUBERS INTERNATIONAL a management company which has managed and promoted the likes of Jazz legends Dave Brubeck, Miles Davies, Gerry Mulligan and Art Blakey. And are still selling their debut album 'MIND IS A REBEL' through Cargo Records.
