This summer, the Yung Mars Album' was on the College Music Journal's (CMJ.com) Hip Hop Top 20 for over 8 weeks peaking at number 3!. It started off as the number 1 most added college hip-hop record for it's release date, and succesfully moved it's way up from 19, to 8, to 7, to 4, to 3! It was the only self released album in the top 20...

They want us to share that belief; they use it to justify themselves, to manipulate us, to shape the world's political & economic systems, perpetuating war & poverty. ¶ But you & I have found something better inside ourselves & our friends. It's in everyone, if we can just wake them; we're all one flesh & blood. Let's spread that vision, for until we do our other advances will be minor & temporary. (I've been sending out emails to promote ideas by Lakoff, Waldman, & Hartmann about *how* to spread the word.) ¶ In the ideological struggle, no one can afford to be just a spectator.
