Bio
Adopting their name from an actual Guilford County road, Thacker Dairy Road has been lighting up stages all over North Carolina since forming in 2004, and is ready to share their unique combination of rock, pop and Americana with the world. Fronted by rich, soulful vocalist Andrea Thorne, the band appeals to a wide array of musical pallets. Andrea is backed by the soaring harmonies of fiddle player Rebecca White, eclectic and melodic lead guitarist Josh Casstevens, infectious grooving bassist George Smith and solid drummer Jonathan McMillan. .. Aside from polished musicianship and an unyielding work ethic, Thacker Dairy Road delivers an electrifying live show. Andrea and Rebecca create a contagious energy with their feisty, flirtatious banter, and together they provide a very provocative aesthetic to accompany the music. Focusing primarily on original material with a few choice covers, this powerhouse delivers dynamic, high-energy performances making every fan feel like they are right in the mix. .. With members of Thacker Dairy Road playing countless music festivals and venues on the East coast and sharing stages with legendary artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gov't Mule, Marshall Tucker, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Charlie Daniels, Drive By Truckers, DJ Logic, John Popper, Jimmy Herring, Goose Creek Symphony, Larry Keel, Peter Rowan, Donna the Buffalo, and Jim Avett, anticipation of the band's debut CD is mounting. Most recently, Thacker Dairy Road performed alongside national recording artist Jason Michael Carroll, and award-winning artist Darius Rucker. .. The self-titled Thacker Dairy Road album will be available on iTunes, Digstation, CDbaby, and will also be available for special order via the band’s official website. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .................... ....................real..editor....best profile tools................real..editor....best profile tools..............How I made my profile:....I used Dave & Jay's amazing ..myspace profile editor............................... -
