Consisting of some of the hardest working musicians in the industry, Thacker Dairy Road blends a unique combination of Americana, Roots and Soul. Focusing primarily on original material with a few choice covers, this quintet delivers dynamic, high-energy performances fronted by Andrea Thorne's rich, soulful vocals. Rebecca White's soaring harmonies and fiddle playing coupled with lead guitarist Josh Casstevens generate an eclectic range of melodic sounds. Drummer Jonathan McMillan and bassist George Smith make up the infectious rhythm foundation that complete TDR.
With members of TDR having played countless music festivals on the east coast and shared stages with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gov't Mule, Marshall Tucker, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Charlie Daniels, Drive By Truckers, DJ Logic, John Popper, Jimmy Herring, Goose Creek Symphony, Larry Keel, Peter Rowan, Donna the Buffalo and many more, anticipation of the band's debut CD is mounting. The band is currently in the studio and expect the album to be finished later this year.
