My life is slowly improving, definitely filled with brighter moments as I've managed to do things like lose 72 pounds and counting in the past 12 months. I'm still giddy over the fact we elected an African-American president in Barack Obama. I am allergic to straight eggs, but can eat things with eggs in them. My humor is quirky at best and indecipherable at worst. Music is my drug of choice. I read everywhere I go. I can talk for hours, and either sound like the smartest guy on the planet or make absolutely no sense at all. Politics is the air I breathe. I cannot stand the Republican Party, yet some of my best friends are Republicans. Did I mention that I ramble a lot?
