As Hiphop is taking the world by storm and gaining popularity with many cultures. Daku and Pacifik have been representing for south Asians through their music. Meeting in a Studio over 8 years ago, the two Desi rappers quickly gained a friendship and started collaborating for individual projects. As they made more and more tracks together, great feedback started pouring in. They talked frequently about working on a duo project. One night the conversations came to light when Pacifik and Daku recorded a track "tha warning" produced by Tiger at his studio "Lucid Appeal Recording House". The chemistry of the two Indian rappers on the same track had developed in to a serious business opportunity. So they agreed ..ing a partnership and taking their solo careers and creating a team. The talented artists sat down and brainstormed names for the group and came up with the most fitting and appropriate givin there Indian background. Raised up and in lower class areas just outside Toronto Canada. “Tha Indianz” lyrics consist of a lot of issues facing not only south Asians but all immigrants in North America. They are currently in the mastering process of there 18 track debut album, (not yet titled). The cd will has a handfull of desi hip hop collabs from Bohemia to Don Revo. The album will also feature production from many young upcoming producers. Also look out for the pre album promotional mixtape titled "D.U.I". Some tracks from the blend cd have already been featured on radio shows and other mixtapes around Canada, U.S and Uk.
