Tha Krookz, a rising group from California, blend hardcore Hip-Hop, Soul, and Club Bangers to create an exceptional experience.
They are focused on positivity and uplifting of the people, while still staying in tune with reality and current events.
Their music touches on the hardships of everyday life.
These young men offer a lot of their own experiences in their music.
Tha Krookz, comprised of San Francisco-born Filthy Fred and K.T., are looking to set new standards in West Coast Rap and to take the world by storm.
They established their group in 2002. They spent hours in the studio, molding and refining their craft.
Near the end of 2006, they began work on their first independent mixtape, titled "Green Paypa and Presidentz, vol. 1", which was released to the streets on February 1, 2007. Their project did well in the streets, resulting in growing popularity.
Now, in 2009, Fred and K.T. just released "Krook Nation, vol. 1", and are working on a self-titled EP.
"Sunshine", their first single off the EP, has been well-received since its internet release.
The accompanying video has created a major buzz.
There are high expectations for Tha Krookz and their work and, with the talent they've shown and the interest and support they've generated, the results could be momentous.
