We are The Holland Account, an original-metal band from Indianapolis, Indiana. As band members came and gone, the core group of individuals: Shultz (Vox), Brandon (Guitar), and Gumby (Guitar) persevered to continue their quest to create a unique and imaginative sound. In early 2008, the look for a new drummer was over as Jeremy (JC), a Shine Custom Drums and Percussion endorsed artist, joined the lineup and infused his technically virtuosic style to the sound. Shortly thereafter, Dan, a prominent Indianapolis bassist joined the lineup adding even more personality to the already emotionally charged music. The energy and chemistry of this new lineup recharged the ever-expanding THA fan base and remolded the band into one of the most exciting, spontaneous and entertaining bands to ever own the stage.
The Holland Account has shared the stage with many national acts including: Alabama Thunder Pussy, Daath, Green Jelly, Hed P.E., Mower, NWO, and Obituary. THA, who were finalists in the 2008 Indianapolis Battle of the Bands (only metal band to make it to the final round), can be heard frequently on Indianapolis's biggest metal station, X103 in addition to others. As a result of this exposure, and in addition to the band’s perennial success in the Great Lakes and Eastern markets, THA has been fortunate to bring aboard several sponsors/endorsers.
The barely controlled aggression and chaos spilling out of the minds and instruments of The Holland Account can only be experienced to be believed.
