You can't mention Far Rockaway without giving respect and props to Tha Riot Squad. Tha Riot Squad was generally recognized as a Far Rockaway Super Group whose headliner Stack Bundles, coined the phrase "SSSSSsssssquad Up"! The four members of the group comprise of Stack Bundles, Bynoe, Chinx Drugz, and Cau2G$. They came together as a group in the early 2000's as the four best rappers from four different hoods in Far Rockaway. With five mixtapes under their belt: Riot's That Gang Part 1& 2, U.S.R.,Riot Or Diet Part 1,2,3 &4 they've proved their readiness for mainstream awarded "Street Certified" on numerous occassions by RapMullet.com.
In 2004 Stack Bundles was nominated for East Coast Mixtape artist of the year at the annual Justo Mixtape Awards. In addition to their mixtape fame, they've been featured on every hip hop DVD's, and most notibly appeared several times on SMACK DVD. They are no stranger to the music industry as they've recorded hits with signed artist like Kanye West, Jim Jones, Maino, Lil' Wayne, Tony Yayo and Mobb Deep and have worked with DJ Clue, Pudgee P,Superstar Jay, Kay Slay, and Scoob Doo to name a few. Before the group got the chance to record their debut album, Stack Bundles was tragically killed at his home in Redfern projects in June of 2007.
The group grinded harder and released several mixtapes after Stack's passing including DJ CLUE presents STACK BUNDLES: LEGENDS NEVER DIE and SNATCHATAPE's THE BEST OF STACK BUNDLES, STARVATION ARMY (Riot or Diet Part 2) & MOB OR STARVE (Riot or Diet 3),"MOB OR STARVE" was recently mentioned as a notible on MTV'S Mixtape Monday.The group is preparing for the release of Stack Bundles debut album entitled "ROCKSTAR", and currently working on Tha Riot Squad's Highly Anticipated Debut Album,proving to the game that Tha Riot Reign Moves On.
