"What took them so long? Scotlands own reggae stars!" - Music news Scotland
We are the Spectres. Three mates who play music, mainly when drunk. If you come and see us play you should drink too and we'll all be on the same page.
Take a hyperactive rhythm ace from Newcastle, Australia. Add a fast, funky bass wrangler from the wilds of Angus. Combined with Shady Phil's melodic reggae and the end result is an adrenaline shot for your lazy feet and an ointment for your soul rash!
Live performance is where we are most at home. We can thrive off the vibe you bring and chuck it right back at you. Dancing to our tunes will not only improve muscle tone and general health. it will make you rich, immortal etc. So crack out your skankin slacks, dust off your jive jumper and we can all show each other our special moves.
