Rap and hip hop influences came from cats like Scarface, UGK, Das Efx, 2pac, Ghetto boys, 8-ball and MJG, Goodie Mob, Outkast, Mystykal, Bone Thugs and Harmony, 3-6 mafia, etc... and alot of local groups u may not have heard of, cats like: Trinity Garden Cartel, Fakkulty, Street Military, 5th ward boys, Ace Duece, ESG, Point Blank, BAM, Gang Socioty, Klondike Kat, Gangsta Nip, Swisha House, Lil KeKe, Fat Pat, DJ Screw, Big Pokey, Big Moe, Big Hawk, South Park Mexican, Aggravated, Z-ro, Crime Boss, Devin the Dude, and all of those mixtapes that had cats on it that nobody knew who they was, cats that wasnt tryin to get paid but just wanted to grab a mic and rip it... lol, If u from the H... u know what im talkin about, lol See as far as Hip hop, it just aint the same since the 90's and early Millenium, it all sound the same now, and it is all too commercialized, it is only a handfull of cats that I can say go off, and most of them aint even really considered "rappers" Other than the beats, I can't hardly listen to the radio no more, no substance at all... what a shame...
