Dante is one half of the group "Dante and Calabrese". This page is dedicated to Dante's solo album "The Return of Antonio Damera". Dante is 100% original, all production, writing and recording is done by Dante himself. No use of loops, computer software, stolen beats or outside producers. All recording is done at Dante's brother's (Calabrese) home studio. His music does not sound like many others. If you appreciate real music from a real artist then you will feel him. No production teams, no vocal coaches, no managers, just Dante and Calabrese. Dante is origianlly from Detroit Michigan but now resides in Charlotte North Carolina. Dante has been in the streets of Charlotte for years selling his two previous albums "This Is Only A Test" and "This Is For Real" selling over 3000 copies, as well as instrumentals. He is known in the streets, clubs and liquor spots and people speak highly of how he stays on the grind. "The Return Of Antonio Damera" is Dante's first solo album. He plans to hit the streets in February of 2008 with this album sell over 1000 copies. People know him in the streets and his name will only continue to grow with the release of his latest album. When you see him on the grind show some love for you boy. Real hiphop is what Dante is about. If you are tired of the hollywood studio enginered bubblegum gangsta rap, if you are into real music with a purpose, then you will love what you hear from Dante.
Dante is an extremely talented and versitily artist who's style is considered a collaboration of genres ranging from Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Being a music admirer that lived in Detroit and now Charlotte, his style has been influenced by the midwest, eastcoast and downsouth flavors. The 'Dante Style' is a mixture of east coast hard hitting drums, midwest soul samples, and down south 808's and baselines topped with double sometimes triple layered thought provoking vocals. It is truly his own. He is considered soul, conscious and street all at the same time. His music is a reflection of what he has experienced and learned in life, the good, bad and ugly. Dante vows to never lie on a record and never glorify the "ghetto" so you won't hear him rapping much about ignorant subject matter. Nah man, you're definitely not lame, but once you have some art you're sure you want, go for it. I'm in the midst of finishing my left arm right now. I have one more session of color to do next week. There'll be a new picture as soon as it's healed.
Yo Dante! Thanks for the add & the luv for my "Where's the Real Rap" jawn. I'm feeling your tracks as there's a distinct style with how you rap & that you're spittin the truth too. It's hard to find rappers like that nowadays. Keep doing what you do by staying on that grind.
thanx for the luv homie, we tryna get it ova here! thats jus a promo song for me and my nigga kayo albums. the chevrolet musik tour goin thru the mid west right now, but we'll be in the south soon. im glad u feelin the track tho, stay in tune famly, its more to come.
It's all good man, thanks for the comments. Yeah, Mayweather...what's left to be said. The dude has a lot of nerve calling them out for being racist when they were the very ones who put all of his fights on, gave him PPVs, and of course the 24/7 extravaganzas. Shouldn't surprise any of us, though. The dude is delusional. I mean, he actually thinks he can even be mentioned in the same breath as the all-time greats. What he doesn't seem to realize is that HBO's broadcast team isn't racist, they just don't enjoy watching his boring style, hearing his loud mouth, and reading about him making it rain.
hey whats good just checking in to see how u doin and how your 4th was hopefully u chilled out and had a good time take care and thanks for stayin in touch fam one blaq onourgame. com
