Hmmm ...
lets see ... about me ... I was born and raised (and still live) here in Staten
Island, New York. KING Design started way back in 1996 when the Internet was a
new place for finding information. I created a web page for our family race team
(it wasn't much to look at) and I became very interested in how web sites were
created and designed. From there I learned about html code, I taught
myself how to use some graphics software and I started learning more and more
about web site and graphic design (you never stop learning new things). Now we
offer Graphic Design, Logo Design and full Web Site Development. Stop by the web
site for more information and some examples of the services we offer http://www.thatisking.com
My portfolio has grown over the years to include: Race Tracks, Many Race
Teams, Race Car Drivers, Small Business and even a Rock Band or two. But my main
focus has always been racing!
I was brought up around auto racing. Ever since i was a kid, there were race
cars out in the garage. When I became old enough I started turning wrenches on
my brother's modifieds that we raced at the now closed Flemington Speedway in
New Jersey. From there the rest is history, over the years I have had the
opportunity to visit many race tracks in the northeast as a crew member when we
raced on the Whelen Modified Tour or just weekly tracks we raced at thru the
years. Some of those race tracks include: Flemington Speedway, Wall Stadium,
East Windsor Speedway, Bridgeport Speedway, Mountain Speedway, Mahoning Valley
Speedway, New Egypt Speedway, Riverhead Raceway, Lake Erie Speedway, Chemung
Speedrome, Tioga Motorsports Park, Oswego Speedway, Thompson Speedway, Stafford
Motor Speedway, Beech Ridge Speedway, New Hampshire International, Waterford
Speedbowl, Seekonk Speedway, Concord Motorsports Park, Hagerstown Speedway,
Syracuse Fairgrounds plus many many more.
Some Family History:
My father raced at the local racetrack Weisglass Speedway here on Staten Island
and was track champion there a few times back in the sixties. My uncle raced in
all different types of racecars, from Midgets to Sprint cars to Dirt and Asphalt
Modifieds. You can view photos of all this history at http://www.nascarmodified20.com
My Other Interests:
