REVIEWS:
When I first heard this I thought someone must have been taking the piss – and I’m still not completely convinced they’re not.
The Journey, you see, are apparently Joshua Horvath aged 14, Samuel Horvath aged 11 and Ben Stanhope aged 15 and yet they produce full-on, dirty-South rock that could kick the arse of some of the same-old-nothing so many young bands are producing today. Lead singer Joshua has enough grit in his voice to sound convincing, despite the odd occasion when his tone gives away his age as well as providing sh*t hot guitar riffs. Bassist Ben provides a solid backline and if that drummer is really 11 years old then he is going to be something really special in a few years or so.
The Journey are most definitely ones to watch in the next few years.

I'm absolutely blown away by these guys. I've just been working at the Brit Awards and they are as good as any of the bands I filmed there!

THE JOURNEY are brothers from Gorefield, Nr Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. Josh Horvath on guitar and vocal duties and Sam Horvath on drums. who during performances invite local musicians to take part in their set these are to include the talented keyboard player Maddie Corney.
Although the lads are very young they are a very tight outfit that make a big noise and can hold their own in front of an audience of both their peers and adults giving a responsible and professional attitude to there performance. Art and Soul Magazine .com quoted in April 2009 "Seconds into their set they mean business and have set a challenge to many twice their age"
The Journey started out in 2000 when Josh and Sam started jamming together at home. Before long they decided to give performing a go and managed to get some gigs around there home town of Wisbech even playing at a festival in front of around 2,000 people.
The Journeys set includes originals, vintage and modern rock featuring sounds from Kings of Leon, ACDC and Jet with their ace card being their Jimi Hendrix tribute which have left audiences captivated and hooked!!!
The band have received a good reception where ever they have played including festivals in kings lynn, March and Wisbech along with regular performances for local radio KLFM (96.7). their highlight so far being featured in the BBC1 musical series Clash.
The Journey would like to thank Hair of the Dog and Bob Stewart of KLFM for all their help and support on their Journey so far.
