Making memories for those around me is my goal.
I love Enigma's music, push the button. You'll be pleasantly taken to a very sensual mindset. Put your feet up, close your eyes (if you dare to forfeit the visual stimulation), turn the speakers up, let the sounds surround you.. and live in the moment. Enigma has always been one of my favorite groups, and their latest remix is awesome. Discover "The Principles of Lust", and let your heartbeat follow mine, into the breathless depths known as burning pleasures of desire... feel your heartbeat. This song epitomizes me. Understand it, you'll understand me.
My tastes vary to the mood. Lately, the Rent soundtrack is my fave, and is in my alarm clock to wake me up with a smile. My CD stand has such diverse selections, from easy listening rock, to pop, to ethnic stuff. I especially love soundtracks. About the only thing that makes me screech is Gansta Rap and screaming heavy metal.
If you haven't heard of Adam Lambert of Season 8 American Idol, you will. Here's a prime example of why. This kid is HAWT!
Did you know Blockbusters has a special on some good movies? 4 for $20... I've been stocking up and will have lots of movies to watch when the rain starts falling! Many different genres.. will have something for any mood :D
Television
I gravitate towards Discovery Channel, A&E, TLC, and any mystery or crime solving based shows.
Books
I like true crime story writers, Ann Rule especially. I love to solve mysteries. I wish I had more time to read, but I'm the kind of girl that can't put a book down until the end so I rarely start a book right now. If I do, it's usually to escape for a day.
Heroes
My fourth grade teacher, Bruce McIntyre, who was a dwarf in a world that had difficulty accepting differences in people. He gave me hope and stirred an optimistic viewpoint that only he could do. He opened the world of art to me, and helped me see that anything is possible if you believe in it. He told me the story of the Ugly Duckling, and explained that one day I'd grow into a swan.

If you are trolling for girls, Go sit under a bridge, you'll have better luck than here.
Change is good, it’s been said. And that must mean my life is GREAT! I’ve had a lot of changes in the last couple of years. When they first started, I was terrified of the changes. My son had been recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, I was completely starting over after a disastrous ending to a relationship I’d put everything into, and I had no idea where my life was heading. It has been a roller coaster of life, but it's headed downhill now. It’s certainly been a huge education in the school of hard knocks, but I am a fast learner. (And it makes for great blog writing!)
If you want to read some tidbits or just ramblings, check out my blog, that’s where the stuff most people are interested in hearing about anyway! I read a lot of other people’s blogs too. There are some very creative and funny folks on MySpace! They inspire me to write more, which many have told me I need to do. I have had a very interesting life, and slowly I will be posting these experiences in the form of series writing. I am a pretty old fashioned kind of gal, but I have a swirl of fun in there too. Sort of like Mrs. Cleaver with an I Dream of Jeannie twist. You'll find stories about life as an erotic/burlesque dancer, a slave in BDSM world, and general struggles of being a single parent. I love double innuendo, and I appreciate when someone can banter back and forth with me using it. There's many humorous stories and photo blogs - ranging from hilarious to sensual and some are downright bawdy! But one thing for sure is that the Random Inklings are... well... random! Hopefully, those who take time to read the blog series will be entertained, educated, and titillated at times. For the most part, it’s just my way of getting a bunch of memories out of my head and it’s a helluva lot cheaper than therapy! I try to use humor, and find some enlightening moral or whatever in each of my stories, but there are also the tidbits of nothingness that come out in my Random Inklings. Such is the life of a writer who puts her heart into her words.
Girly Myspace Layouts
Fun to me is camping in rural Oregon, a day trip cross country skiing, wandering a corn field maze, sipping a new wine with friends, cheering for the Broncos, relaxing with a good movie on a rainy day, shopping for shoes :D, cutting my own christmas tree, flying a kite at the coast, family dinners, and just enjoying the company of friends. I love to dance, socialize, and simply see the things in life most people don't take time to notice.
I am not necessarily looking for a romantic relationship, as I am pretty much wrapped up in caring for my son. If you are looking at my profile because the picture caught your eye, forget about sending me the silly “Hey sexy” email, I’m not interested. I am not a superficial person and really want something that has more depth. I won’t slam the door tho, if the right person comes along and can accept that my first responsibility is to my son. Friends are important to me and I love meeting all kinds of folks, so if you are willing to build a friendship, say howdy.
People who live life with an optimistic attitude. Friends, humorous buddies, anyone who knows where to find a Banana Split Mocha, romantic souls, passionate folks. Those who have a passion about something important in their lives. If you are are open to diverse lifestyles, all the better. I like unique people, original thinkers, creative minds, optimistic folks, humorous wits, kinky adventurers and artistic appreciators.
As per a reply made in my most current blog, I suppose a little background information is in order. I hope it all fits in one comment but just in case, I apologize in advance if it takes up mega space on your profile page. This was sent recently, from a very dear friend of mine in California who is currently fighting breast cancer. Here she is fighting for her life and she was thinking of me. That stabs my heart with gratitude and awe. So it is with a grateful heart, I pay it forward. I wanted to somehow rewrite it for all my beloved friends in Calligraphy, which I am very rusty at as it has been years since I have even practiced, so instead I'm hand delivering (via profile pages) this message to you, and others. It won't have the effect I was going for because I'm mass producing it and I'm not really into that sort of impersonal correspondence which is ew' I know but hey, I'm a busy girl these days. Lots of packing and boxing and did I mention packing? So, it is what it will be. I need to send it to everyone I love but consequently unfortunately, it won't effectively make anyone feel as special as they unquestionably are to me. Please know my intent is pure.
maybe it's time to take care of yourself. maybe it's time to scream out loud that you don't have the answers and you just plain can't figure out what it's all about... but you're in this for the full ride. maybe it's time. maybe it's time to stop doin' the half ride. maybe it's time to step into it all. to weep your guts out. to hurt all the way to your core. to allow the hurt to be there. maybe it's time to embrace the love and believe in it even tho it's not always perfect... but it is always right. maybe it's time to shout out to your depths that you do matter and you will do all in your power to live healthy. maybe it's time to stop just getting thru, just surviving. maybe it's time to grab the gift you've been given. and celebrate every piece of it - including the pain that brought you here. maybe it's time. forget the maybe...and know it... it is time.
And because I know that you are one who this will matter to, Saturday was not only Halloween, but it also marked my one-year anniversary of being a non-smoker. We're so cool, aren't we? :)
For some reason we Canucks celebrate Thanksgiving weekend a month ahead of our American friends, so I'm using this opportunity to THANK YOU for being who you are and for being a friend to me.
