I'm a songwriter who, two years ago following the break-up of a band I was in for 10 years, left my home in Washington, DC and moved to Santa Monica, CA.
Since then, I've been attempting to record an ever-growing catalogue of music in my bedroom studio. I'm currently doing it all myself: vox, backing vox, guitars, bass, drums, keys, mixing, mastering, etc.
Being the General and the foot soldiers in my clone army, I am learning a bit as I go (particularly in the still nascent crafts of drumming and recording, for which I was never previously responsible). My goal in life is really to have a career that maximizes my time available to write more music.
If you happen to enjoy my music, you could greatly help my endeavor by telling a friend or buying a song. However, the fact that you may have enjoyed it is already bad-ass in my book. If we never meet in person, it was at least nice to drift through your brain while we both shared this earth.
If you're reading this and I'm now dead, scratch that last sentiment. You mean nothing to me.
I was wanting my patrick fix ... and wouldn't you know it? You delivered.. I'm enjoying the new songs I haven't heard.. (The one on your website Dog after tail has some good sound quality.)
Hey Patrick! I'm diggin the new myspace and website design! Looks like you have been keeping busy. I am back in Wisconsin for a week working on a new record with my a cappella group and will then be back out on the high seas for another month or so. We need to catch up one of these days. Hope all is well!
That's so funny! I love the song. This is the first comment I have made on myspace in 6 months. By the way, I got a 1380 on my SAT whhoo!!! Thanks for your help. 730 in math, o yeah!
