Thatsgoodness strives to enhance the global arts platform by empowering socially conscious artists to create, showcase and distribute socially pertinent, educational and powerful works of art. It is our ambition to converge the arts and social awareness allowing us to proliferate goodness throughout the world in the hopes of putting an end to economic, social and cultural injustices.
Born M. Thomas in White Plains, N.Y., raised solely by his mother from age 5, Miles began writing poetry and songs at the age of 12. During his tour in the U.S. Marines he inherited his mother’s passion for human rights. After his enlistment he immersed himself in the vibrant Atlanta open-mic scene. This experience triggered the evolution into Megaciph; Mental Energies Gather and Circulate in Positive Harmony. Megaciph has since graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Music Management, completed a full length collaboration with the Twelfth Planet: “First Orbit,” a solo project: “The Graduate Program,” and a 7 song EP with Aqua-Fi Project. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Nonprofit Management at Milano the New School.
Megaciph, A proficient solo performer, is currently living in NYC and constantly performing and promoting human rights through his music. In 2007 life’s musical journeys brought Megaciph and the Aqua-Fi Project together. Their first performances were in the Atlanta rounds of the 2007 Emergenza Festival; securing first place in rounds one and two, and tying for third place, after only five months of playing together, in the Atlanta Finals. The Aqua-Fi Project brought together over 30 years of diverse musical experiences and performance skill to the audio and visual landscape.
Currently, Megaciph is beginning production of his sophomore solo album and working with various artists in the New York area. Occasionally he hosts an open mic on Friday nights and works with No More Hope Please Band on various projects.
