That Sound is a one hour music radio show that plays the best new indie releases. It airs on KPSU Friday nights at 7, and is available as an mp3 download or podcast at thatsoundradio.com (and older archives at postmodernrock.com). I also interview bands from time to time and have them play in-studio.
Listening to podcasts, by the way, is as easy as doing email. Seriously. And, you don't need an iPod. Click here to read more.

If you haven't already, head on over to the Urban Outfitter's blog. They are sponsoring a line-up of bands at SXSW, and have posted a BUNCH of songs by some very choice bands.
you CAN be! just close your eyes, and find yourself in a beautiful field full of lilies and flowers, lets the conservative fairies of the land swarm around you and fill you with light - yes, you can feel it can't you? the love is all around you and fills your hole with republican yum yum snacks - now pull out that baggie and take a wiff! YOU'VE DONE IT! YOU'RE A REPUBLICAN! God Bless you America!
I wish (video montage)! I thought that the Someday Lounge people might have done some video...check out their site. It may have been just live web-cam stuff, but you never know. Hope all is well, -Michael
let's hope that someone is just about to jump off the hawthorne bridge when i car passes by listening to your show just as you play us and they say "wait, what was that?!" but then its too late because their foot slips...
Hey, thanks for the word and plays, Mr. Sound. Don't know if i'll make it to Portland any time soon (the outside world is a scary, scary place), but i'm happy to be listened to all the same.
My senior year of high school i got to play the clarinet solo (or an edited version) from sing, sing, sing. That about sums up my jazz experience, although I'd love to change it. I enjoy playing glissandos, though. They are fun stuff.
I love your station. Some songs I know, some I don't. It's good exposure. I heard about it from a friend.
