With band members from Bogota, Oslo and Blackpool, TSMH is now located in Oslo, and is currently spreading their blend of art-rock, noise and straight forward pop music to the masses.
According to several concert promotors, That Special Monkey Hug is currently experiencing quite a wave of attention, being the buzz of the Norwegian underground and all.
In 2007, TSMH has taken their experimentality and indieness to the limit, playing gigs in an Austrian mountaintop yogacenter, in a tent in the center of Oslo (support: Brett Anderson!), in the back of a moving tram during the Öyafestival in Oslo and in a hotel lobby in a small, small town way out on the Norwegian west coast.
