Who I'd like to meet:

The THC EXPO grows larger everyday in Los Angeles as the entire Hemp & Cannabis community is coming together for the first time under one roof. All ages are welcome to attend the trade fair and educate themselves on the wonders of Cannabis. An 18 years and older section is going to be highlighted at the Expo to exhibit items intended for adult use. The THC EXPO is the largest indoor Hemp fair in the United States with over 96,000 sq ft of Expo space. THC EXPO is a one-of-a-kind business to consumer show, with over 300 cannabis related businesses exhibiting their products and services to the Cannabis based consumer. Come see the diversity and unique opportunities involved in the flourishing Cannabis Industry. Today Cannabis is California’s top crop doubling the sales of wine and all vegetables grown in California; 2006 estimates put Cannabis as a 14 billion dollar crop in California alone. Those estimates don’t even include the millions of dollars spent on purchasing products that contribute the production of Cannabis. Growers producing Cannabis use all kinds of products and services that help the entire community. From the real estate broker who finds a suitable place to grow to the seed merchant to buy the seeds, then add all the buckets, lights, watering systems, nutrients, trimmers and so on; the end consumer of Cannabis also purchases rolling papers, water pipes, vaporizers and hundreds of other products creating a incidental supporting market worth billions on it’s own. Industrial Hemp use is also on the rise, Industrial Hemp can be used in over 50,000 different products. Hemp can compete with paper, cotton and many other industrial products that are detrimental our environments. The United States made Hemp a compulsory crop for farmers to grow in 1619 in order to provide the young country with the industrial products it needed such as paper, fiber and oils that were our staple necessities. Hemp remained legal for over three hundred years until in 1937 when the Marihuana Tax Act and was pushed through Federal government and the fair competiveness of capitalism took a huge blow and drove farmers out of business. Unlike in every other industrialized nation where thousands of companies are profiting from industrial Hemp production, Hemp is still illegal to grow in the United States. Come exhibit and help educate the world on the value the Cannabis plant has in our world. Come attend as a visitor to learn more about Cannabis and to be able to buy some really cool stuff.
