ABOUT THE BAND
Do you remember when Rock was fun? The Chronicles do. Billboard Magazine (2006) says, "Here's an Iggy Pop meets Billy Idol feel with infectious melodies and witty lyrics."
The Chronicles are a recording act featuring Jesse and Joe Chisholm, a father and son song writing team who have compiled a few dozen songs since 2004. We are joined by indie veteran Andre Skinner of Canteen Knockout and Tim Cassidy, radio host of IndieLove and former front man of the Jeff Healey house band.
We’ve enjoyed some critical acclaim, regular spins on college radio, pod casts from Calgary to Ottawa, Michigan to Florida, most recently Europe + the odd CBC feature. Jesse and Joe would like to thank our friends at Song Writers Association of Canada, all of the veterans and beautiful unknowns of the Canadian music community for your support and ideas on production, song writing and what’s most important in life.
We are singing for our supper and our education. Revenue from music sales goes right back into worthy causes: Jesse has just been accepted into Trinity College at U of T. Joe is the founder of IndieCan Radio. Andre was a co-founder of IndieCan and continues to be a big supporter when he can steal time from his Alt/Country act, Canteen Knockout and his death metal band No Church.
Listen here all you want for want and please feel free to tell your friends. If you would like to own any or all of five song recording, please visit our music store at: http://www.chroniclesrock.com/store.htm

Andrews’s family is suffering through the 2nd anniversary of their son's disappearance today. I would be surprised if they could fight through their grief to help themselves today so let’s step in with a little love and support. This video is like a message in a bottle, the more people who watch it and cast it out upon the sea of their contacts, the better chance Andrew will see it or that it will wash up upon the shore of someone who can offer this family some answers.
Love that song, "Baptism by Fire." Keep up the good work. Sadly, your facebook doesn't seem to have the same creative flair. We'll just have to talk 'in person' sometime soon and discuss said-topic in detail.

Everyone has their winning strategies, I suppose. Strategies that custom-fit individual needs.
Think big, start at a comfortable place, stabilize before the next step and always keeping the eye on the prize. Thinking otherwise can put one to sleep and lose momentum, but to each their own.
Yes, it was a very good and useful interview with Jon Long. Thank you.
Hey The Chronicles, Love what you guys are doing for Canada's Indie music scene... it's much, much appreciated. Thanks for stopping by our page and commenting on our songs. We'll be in touch with you this week. Love Mad June xoxo
