Welcome to The 100 Club...
The 100 Club play a brand of alternative rock that features pounding drums and heavy bass with soaring melodies over the top. Smart guitar lines and assured vocals mark them out as something different on the current British musical landscape.
The band have developed their live act by performing at venues around Manchester, including key shows at Academy 3, The Roadhouse, Night & Day and the 2008 MAPS Festival. In a short amount of time they have built up quite a reputation, with a show at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, a support slot with The Wombats and a performance as part of the Manchester International Festival all under the belt. Reviews in the local music press have been uniformly positive, and the band are currently booking their own shows and performing in venues outside of Manchester in order to build up a national profile.
The 100 Club’s powerful sound and dynamic song-writing has brought about comparisons as varied as Queens of the Stone Age, The Foo Fighters, Interpol and Death From Above 1979, with an energetic live show winning them new fans wherever they play.
