The 10p Mixes are all about making pop music, drinking pear cider &eating sweets.
We are an indie-pop group, currently playing as an acoustic duo. We have good melodies, interesting lyrics and unusual harmonies, or so it has been said. We write songs about things that are meaningful to us, such as being skint, wearing a coat, and the notorious antics of the French canine population. We like making people think, laugh, cry, smile, dance and sing along.
We play sets usually comprised entirely of our own material (which has been described as "deceptively simple (i.e. actually quite clever)"), but have been known to throw in covers of songs we love. Danielle sings lead vocals and plays keyboard melodies, whilst Will plays the guitar and provides vocal harmonies.
We believe music, be it silly or serious, simple or complex, happy or sad, should reflect the many different aspects of life, which can be any or all of the above. We hope that you agree. Plans for the future

We are writing songs &singing together &stuff. We're aiming to have some more recordings up here as soon as possible, &to play some gigs as soon as anyone lets us. We didn't set out to be twee on purpose, we just ended up this way. If we seem naïve we probably are.

Acoustic Live Lounge @ 3345, Parr Street, Liverpool kicks off this Monday 26th October with two fantastic booked acts. The wonderful Vinny T Spen and the very cool and energetic Stuart Todd will be performing. Both local Liverpool lads and not to be missed and if that wasn't enough you can come down and get up on the open mic if you so wish.
Night starts at 8:30pm, so get down early to get booked in on the open mic to avoid missing out.
