The 244 GL from Goettingen, Germany were founded in 1999. Since that time we switched our guitar player twice. The first to leave was Roman, who we only got to play 2 shows with. When he decided to quit Fabian jumped in and everything went just perfectly, except he couldn't play :-D Now, after Fabian went on a spiritual trip to Asia The 244 GL is not quite his cup of tea anymore, so he also decided to part ways, i.e. musically. During this self-discovery trip, which took place from november 2003 to april 2004, we asked a friend of ours, Oliver, to temporarily fill in for Phabman. And now that Fabian leaves for good, we asked Olli again, and he said "Fuck you! Don't you think I've got better things to do?" So with great financial efforts we convinced him to rejoin forces.
We released a demo-cassette called "Tourette, Baby!" in 2000, followed by our debut 7" "Donations Welcome" on Mount Moustache Records and a split 7" with our friends ZANN from good ol' east germany. so right now we are working on new songs for a new lp. dates for the studio where sheduled for march 05 - but since we are lazy assholes we are still in the practise room with a handfull of new songs. and believe or not - we are up to recordings this songs. so in april we record those songs @ the lovely tonmeisterei and hopefully putting them out as soon as possible. whatsoever, we are always happy to play also in your boring town....
After ONLY one year we finally have new recordings, a new loser on the guitar and - believe it or not - a new lp!

After years and years of trying with their newest effort (and in this case it really deserves the term!) "Today we Become the Enemy", they finally managed a downright silly balance between absolute cretinism and brain death. On this record you can almost hear any of the “musicians’” brains melting to pulp and leaking out of their ears and mouths, while the music is coming out of your stereo. And also the apt listener will feel a little more stupider than before...... If you are looking for metal you are probably right. If you need the usual clichés...try other records than this one!
