This band has a one armed guitarist. Just letting you know right off the bat, but let's discuss the band a little deeper so you can understand that fact merely scratches the surface of who this band is and what they represent. The 2nd System is here to provide something positive where there is too much negative, and something negative where there is too much positive. Balanced Metal disguised as hard rock. Hailing from Saginaw Michigan, the sextet known as The 2nd System(T2S) has a brilliant and vibrant roster of musicians that are all capable of playing multiple instruments and they perform with a ferocity that most people never get to see on stage. Live and in the moment, they feed the crowd energy. With the ability to read the room and deliver extra punch on certain aspects of what they do they prove time and time again that they are a force to be reckoned with. Armed with being down to earth and being extremely close-knit from within T2S changes the atmosphere of any room with merely their presence at times. Nothing has stopped this band from continuing it's journey from 2001 to now, and it doesn't look like anything will. From opening for many known national bands to headlining their own tour, T2S has played many notable venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe of Cleveland and Fox State Theater of Detroit as well as bars, casinos, halls, backyard grad parties, festivals and even High School and College theaters, not to mention the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. As if the accomplishments of T2S weren't enough to inform you that they work hard and are dedicated to their craft, one example of the bands will to survive through struggle is the fact that the lead guitarist has only one arm!
