    Formed in late 1999 by Franck Lopez from the french group Opera Multi Steel, Alex Twin from Individual Industry and Maurizio Bonito from Volv Uncion, this band takes its roots among the three members' common musical tastes. Their major influences are running from the britannic Cold-Wave down to the french and german Electro-Gothic styles from the 80's and 90's. Their sound resources not only include analog synthesisers from 70's and 80's but also audio processings, samplings, software synthesis and acoustic instruments. The lyrics written by Franck Lopez and Alex Twin explore subjects melting romantism and desillusion, typical symptoms Of the last century's end and from this Third Millenium's beginning. In 2001 they start to record the first songs and after some months a demo cd with 4 tracks is released. That one is used to promove this new project in Brazil & Europe. Between 2002-2003 they recorded all album and some remixes from friends´ bands are made. Finally, in the end of October/2003 they got a label in Germany to release the debut album. M.Hoffman & W.Zaremba´s new label in Germany ¨S.S.I.” with distribution by Soulfood/ Sony Music released the album in May/2004. The Album brings a cover version from Visage´s song “ Fade to Grey” Album come with a bônus cd featuring remixes from Cesium 137, Aghast View, Celluloide, etc... Good Reviews on German Magazines: Zillo, Orkus, DNAsix and Gothic. 3 Cold Men get best alternative cd in BAC(Brazilian Alternative Charts) in 2004. The band worked on some remixes to others bands. Sara Noxx, Trisomie 21, Celluloide and Dust of Basement. New remixes are coming: The Azoic and SnakeSkin. Now in 2005, 3CM are recording the new album. 12 new songs and more one cover version done. In the same time, first Brazilian tour supporting Das Ich in april. Notes: (2002) 3CM demo cd got positive reactions received from Djs around England, bands Tom Shear (Assemblage 23), Jeyenne (XPQ-21), etc... (2003) - 3CM releases one remix to Sara Noxx´s new song ¨Colder & Colder¨ . (2003) - 3 Cold Men got one track ¨The 3 Cold Men¨ in a compilation ¨Synthetique¨ of French label Boredom Product (2004) - quote: " Whow!!! The "Truth" track: BRILLIANT!!!!!! One of my favourite :-)) Great melody and mood, makes me fly.... I see "pictures"... "Fade to grey" oh my god!!!! The first remix wich is totally different as the original, respect!! Keep it up! " Jeyênne (XPQ-21) (2004) - The drummer Rui Ramos (ex-Clan Of Xymox) is the new band´s member. He will be playing live with 3 Cold Men. (2004) - The 3 Cold Men did an exclusive remix for the Trisomie 21´s new music “The Sweet Running Over”. It will be in their brand new album in 10 years called “Happy Mystery Child”. The cult band from the 80´s will release a triple special edition with 21different remixes in October. (2004) - 3 Cold Men finished a remix for the music “Synchronise” from French band Celluloide. (2004) - The band finished a remix to the german trio Dust of Basement. The song is “Boot Jack”. This remix was released on the new Dust of Basement album! (2004) - Alex Twin did a gig in Europe with his Dj set to promove 3CM album. His set was in Germany (WGT 2004, Return of The Living Dead/Hamburg, Zillo Party/Dortmund, Eisenlager/Oberhausen, Dark Flower/ Leipzig), in Holland and Belgium. (2004) - 3CM was on FAC (French Alternative Charts) for 3 months. In June was number 20, july was number 15 and August was number 13. In October, 3CM back to the FAC on number 17. (2004) - 3CM are number 1 on BAC (Brazilian Alternative Charts), best album and best track in October/2004. (2005) – 3CM first gig in Brazil. 3 dates in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia. All concerts supporting DAS ICH from Germany. (2005) – 3CM released a Vynil feat. 3 versions of X-Fragile. Sold out less than 1 month. (2005) – 3CM released the new cd featuring one new track + unreleased remixes done by bands as: Dust of Basement, Overflow 110, Celluloide, Foretaste, etc… (2005) – 3CM on studio recording the new album “Photogramm” to be released in 2006.
